The Washington Airports Task Force (WATF) is pleased to welcome William Pifer to its Board of Directors.
Bill brings decades of leadership in public service, business, and regional governance. He currently serves as Chairman of the Winchester Regional Airport Authority, representing the City of Winchester and the surrounding jurisdictions, and has held numerous leadership appointments throughout the Shenandoah Valley, including chairing several civic and nonprofit organizations.
His professional background includes service as a Congressional Chief of Staff, campaign management at both the state and federal levels, and extensive experience as a real estate investor in Virginia and North Carolina.
“Bill’s experience in aviation, regional leadership, and public service will be a tremendous asset to the Task Force as we continue advancing our mission of strengthening aviation and economic growth throughout the National Capital Region and the Commonwealth of Virginia,” said WATF President Keith Meurlin.
